Compliance Policy

The Japanese text is the original and the English text is for reference purposes.

DouDoujin Compliance Policy

In accordance with our social responsibility, we continuously maintain a system for compliance with laws and regulations, demonstrating a strong commitment to corporate ethics. We prioritize gaining long-term, stable trust from our customers, content creators, and all parties involved in our business, striving to uphold this as a core management objective.

Article 1: Code of Ethics
This Code of Ethics encourages content creators to adhere to our compliance policy, seeking to clarify our ethical standards and foster comprehensive adherence to laws and regulations. These ethical guidelines are not aligned with any specific ethical organization but are unique to our company and aim to provide clear guidance. However, this does not guarantee that works following these standards are assured. Content handled by ethical organizations may follow those standards, and works deemed socially inappropriate may not be limited to this policy.

Article 2: Language
The Japanese version of these terms and any individual agreements shall serve as the official version. If there is any inconsistency between the Japanese version and other language versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.

Article 3: Self-Rating
Our site uses a self-regulation filter for adult content, in consideration of social standards. Filtering involves displaying an age verification page for content unsuitable for minors. Since adult-oriented works are common on this site, we implement filtering to restrict viewing and prevent minors from easily accessing such content.

Article 4: Age Classification
Content published on this site is rated based on the following criteria: [General Audience] and [R18].
- [General Audience] — Content that can be viewed and used by people of any age without restrictions.
- [R18] — Content restricted to viewers aged 18 and over.
  - Sexual Content: Representations of genital contact, sexual acts, or depictions suggestive of sexual activity, including related or representational sexual content.
  - Other Depictions: Violent scenes, ideologies, or suggestive depictions of imitative behaviors.

Article 5: Review of Submissions
- [Original Works] — Screened for compliance with public decency before publication. See the following sections for details on prohibited content and masking requirements.
- [Derivative Works] — Not reviewed before publication; however, data monitoring is conducted to ensure no violations of the terms or law by content creators. For details on prohibited content and masking requirements, see the following sections.

Article 6: Prohibited Content
If masking (e.g., mosaic) is applied to the prohibited content described in this article, this may be permissible within socially accepted norms.
1. Explicit depiction of genitals.
2. Sexual exposure or depiction of the joining areas with foreign objects.
3. Unnaturally distorted sexual expressions.
4. Depictions of intense violence likely to provoke strong aversion.
5. Expressions promoting extreme ideologies.
6. Content related to cult religious activities or extreme political actions.
7. Content that glorifies and excessively promotes antisocial behavior.
8. Content that unfairly discriminates based on race, beliefs, occupation, gender, or religion.
9. Unfairly discriminatory representations of socially vulnerable groups.
10. Content harmful to the dignity of individuals or entities, including slander, defamation, or harm to reputation.
11. Excessive, grotesque scenes that are exaggerated to an extent potentially leading to imitation.
12. Sexual depictions that explicitly target young children.
13. Terms with a high likelihood of implying individuals under 18, such as elementary, middle school students, preschoolers, children, or related items (e.g., school bags, kindergarten uniforms, name tags).

Article 7: Handling of Live-Action Content
Live-action content featuring sexual expressions is not permitted on this site.

Article 8: Examples of Required Masking (Mosaics, etc.)
1. Genitals or areas resembling genitals (genitals include the penis, scrotum, and external genitals).
2. Areas where genitals join and insertion points (including foreign objects).
3. Anus joining areas and insertion points (including foreign objects).
4. When genitals are depicted with a simple line or color and lack detail, masking may not be required.
5. Technical specifications for masking (e.g., mosaics).
6. Masking should obscure details based on visual judgment, rather than technical aspects of the image.
7. Processing should be applied in a way that makes it technically impossible to restore the original expression.
8. Masking should cover the outline.
9. If transparency makes details visible despite masking, it does not count as sufficient masking. Use the following as a reference for sufficient blurring.
10. For a minimum of 4-pixel squared mosaic and images with a longest side of 400 pixels or more, apply a mosaic of approximately 1/100 of the image's longest side to the required area.
11. When solid color is used, masking must cover all necessary areas, though partial coverage may be acceptable if it effectively obscures details.
12. If obscuring is achieved with white liquid or other elements, masking must cover all necessary parts, though partial obscuring may be permissible if it achieves the intended lack of clarity.

Article 9: Summary
The above content is quite formal, so here’s a summarized list of frequently relevant points.
1. R18 live-action works are not permitted.
2. Apply mosaics over the entire genital area.
3. For mosaics, use 6 pixels for 560x400, 640x480, 8 pixels for 800x600, and 12 pixels for 1280x1024 (about 1/100 of the image’s longest side, but at least 4 pixels).
4. Ensure that the mosaic blurs the outline as well.
5. Solid color or white masking may be acceptable if details are sufficiently obscured, even if some exposure occurs.
6. Contact us for questions regarding violence, ideology, religion, or politics.
7. This is a voluntary regulation by our site and cannot guarantee compliance.
